The Y51 hardware that punctures the Le 5 à 7 shoulder bag didn’t come about by chance. Eager to find a signature that perfectly represented its androgynous, timeless aesthetic, Sa1nt Lau*nt looked to the expertise of French artist Adolphe Mouron Cassandre. And so, in 1961, the monogram was born – expressed here in a classic gold tone that sings in harmony with the canvas backdrop.
